She is the author of the fantasy trilogy <i>The Sceptre of Aerzis \u2013<\/i> comprised of <a href=\"https:\/\/inesbotelho.com\/a-filha-dos-mundos\/\"><i>Daughter of the Worlds<\/i><\/a> (2003), <a href=\"https:\/\/inesbotelho.com\/a-senhora-da-noite-e-das-brumas\/\"><i>Lady of Night and Mists<\/i><\/a> (2004), and <a href=\"https:\/\/inesbotelho.com\/a-rainha-das-terras-da-luz\/\"><i>Queen of the Lands of Light<\/i><\/a> (2005) \u2013 and also of the novels <a href=\"https:\/\/inesbotelho.com\/preludio\/\"><i>Prelude<\/i><\/a> (2007) and <a href=\"https:\/\/inesbotelho.com\/o-passado-que-seremos\/\"><i>The past we shall become<\/i><\/a> (2010). She has several short stories published and pens a column for <a href=\"https:\/\/revistabang.com\/\">Revista Bang!<\/a>. With a degree on Biology and a Master of Anglo-American Studies from the University of Porto, she wrote her <a href=\"http:\/\/hdl.handle.net\/10216\/72308\">dissertation<\/a> on representations of \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d in some of Angela Carter\u2019s tales.
