Biography<\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

In\u00eas Botelho was born in Vila Nova de Gaia in 1986. She is the author of the fantasy trilogy The Sceptre of Aerzis \u2013<\/i> comprised of Daughter of the Worlds<\/i><\/a> (2003), Lady of Night and Mists<\/i><\/a> (2004), and Queen of the Lands of Light<\/i><\/a> (2005) \u2013 and also of the novels Prelude<\/i><\/a> (2007) and The past we shall become<\/i><\/a> (2010). She has several short stories published and pens a column for Revista Bang!<\/a>. With a degree on Biology and a Master of Anglo-American Studies from the University of Porto, she wrote her dissertation<\/a> on representations of \u201cBeauty and the Beast\u201d in some of Angela Carter\u2019s tales. She is currently a collaborator of CETAPS \u2013 Centre for English Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies<\/a>.<\/p>\n
